We have been using the Spiritbuilding Bible Challenge software with our young people for over a year. We use it the most with students ages 8 and up. However, with a little help (mostly reading) the younger kids have benefited from it as well. Maybe in future versions you could add an audio button for the questions and answers.
The software is easy to install and use. The 3 difficuly levels make it adaptable for all ages. We also like that you can use the hint button to look up the Bible reference to questions you're having trouble with. This software has been great to use for long reviews at the end of the quarter and for quick reviews at the end of class. It has good replay value too as there are about 150 questions for each difficulty level on each CD.
Thanks for making these CDs. We look forward to the completion of the NT series. - Nathaniel Outcalt (preacher and Bible class teacher)

I have been using the Jesus Early Life in my recent Bible class of Jr. High age kids for review. I think they have really liked it and they enjoy doing something a little different in class. - Shannon Shaffer (preacher and Bible class teacher)

My daughter, Brynn, played through the medium level of the first family of subjects on CD#1. She said it was challenging, and I agree! You did a great job, and I really like the hint option: it encourages kids to sit at the computer with the Bible in their laps and find the answers, rather than guessing blindly in the dark. This would be a very useful tool for many age groups. It looks wonderful! - C. Givans (mother of 2, Bible class teacher, home schools)

“I really enjoyed the graphics style. The artwork was bright, colorful and original. It beautifully illustrated key moments in Bible history.
They did a great job at crafting questions appropriate to the level of difficulty. And the way scoring is arranged, children are winners no matter their knowledge level! They won’t get discouraged and they’ll be spurred on to learn. This game creates an opportunity and motivation for players to learn exactly what the Bible says.
I see an immediate application in the local church. The CD’s will be a great aid to:
•Preachers conducting Bible drills with children
•Class teachers needing an extra activity in their Bible class for students finished early
•Reward Bible class students for memorization or other tasks in the class
•Enhance any Bible Lab program
•Incorporate into your Vacation Bible School activities” - Andrew Roberts (preacher and Bible class teacher)
I have used the Spiritbuilding Bible Challenge CDs in my 4th grade class as a “station.” Two students team together on the computer, while the rest of the class works on other projects (handwork, bulletin board hands on learning, etc.). The first time through, I give the students free rein, just letting them get a feel of the game. After the first category (hunt and peck), they started “working together” to get the answers…talking out loud and retelling the story to each other. They did very well on most sections and got excited when they received a high score. I believe the best learning took place when 2 of my students received a very low score in a section. They were a little disappointed, so I told them to try again. This time they really worked hard at it…thought it through much better…and got a PERFECT score at the end. They were VERY excited about that. And they didn’t remember the answer solely because they had just done this exercise…I know they learned because they “talked it through together” the second time. - A. Harshman (Bible class teacher)
