Ken Weliever


Ken Weliever was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He received his degree from Florida College before attending the University of South Florida and Wright State University.

Ken presently works with the North Blvd. congregation in Tampa, FL. He has worked with churches in Hillsboroand Kettering, OH; Palmetto and St. Petersburg, FL; Louisville, KY; and Columbia, TN. He has conducted workshops on teacher training, and his series on the family, Strengthening Family Life, as well as preaching in churches from Hawaii to Maine in the past thirty years. He has written The Family Bible Study Series, a Bible class curriculum of 16 quarters for use by all ages in the Bible classes of local churches and well as being the author of the book  Transitions: Trusting God Through the Twenty-Somethings.

Ken is a former member and president of Toastmasters, and a member of the Tampa North Rotary Club; currently serving on the board of directors and President for the 2006-2007 year. He serves on the board of the Florida College Athletic Association as well as the Florida College National Council. Ken and his wife, Norma, are also certified facilitators in the His Needs/Her Needs marriage course by Family Dynamics Institute. They have two grown children:  Kenny and Rachel.
